苏联俄罗斯作家。生于托木斯克州一个政治流放犯的家庭。青年时在西伯利亚各地做工。1933年毕业于莫斯科大学文学系,后任记者。卫国战争期间任《真理报》军事记者。1943年加入共产党。1949年起任《旗》杂志主编、苏联作协书记。主要作品除短篇小说集《战争的故事》(1942)、《可爱的同志》（1943）、《战争的道路》(1955)外，还有：长篇小说《迎着朝霞》（1956～1957），描写西伯利亚的革命运动；中篇小说《这位是巴鲁耶夫》(1960)，反映西伯利亚的经济建设；长篇小说《盾和剑》(1965),表现苏联侦察员的功勋;以及《阳光灿烂正当午》(1973)、中篇小说《特别分队》、《彼得·里亚宾金》(1968)。后两部获1971年度苏联国家奖金。作品涉及苏联十月革命以来的各个时期，大多描写工人阶级在劳动和战争中创造的业绩。1966年起为最高苏维埃代表。1974年为社会主义劳动英雄。
