性质:全称易切削结构钢。这类钢可以用较高的切削速度和较大的吃刀量进行高效率生产,满足自动机床和流水作业的需要。又称为自动机床加工用钢,简称自动钢(automatic steel)。由于钢中加入易切削元素,使切削加工易于进行,从而改善了被加工零件的表面粗糙度,不仅提高了生产率,同时也提高了刀具寿命。易切钢主要用来制作受力较小而对尺寸精度、表面粗糙要求严格的标准件,如仪器、仪表、手表零件或汽车、机床和各种机器上使用的零件。易切钢分碳素易切钢、合金易切钢和不锈易切钢三类。根据添加的易切削元素不同,又可分为硫系、硫磷系、钙硫系、铅系和硒系五组。
