In a full-stress optimal design for statically indeterminate shape steel truss,it is important to calculate the allowable stress for stability of compressed rod in every step of calculation and to speed up convergence for applications.

Combining with the construction difficulties of precision control,field processing,assembling forming,aloft work,which exist in integral lifting of super-high large-span steel truss beam of Yantai Broadcast and Television Center building,the choice of lifting equipment,assembling face and installation operation platform are analyzed,and four 6×19mm wire ropes are adopted as suspender cable.

Described hereby is the reinforcing technique adopted in construction of the tunnel passing under Qingshan Lake, using the H-formed steel truss monolithic formwork to avoid leakage and meet the waterproof requirement of the tunnel.

The process of structural design for National Library PhaseⅡ is introduced including the structural system establishment,structural analysis,seismic design,material selection and joint connection of long span great steel truss etc.
