This paper analyzes on the problems existing in the construction of urban public fire-fighting installations and the causes of basis lacking, puts forward some opinions from four aspects of fire-fighting planning, fire communication system, fire water supply, fire passageway for strengthening the construction of urban public fire-fighting installations.

In the procedures of urban public safety planning and emergency management, how to efficiently deploy and rationally locate the urban disaster prevention and mitigation facilities is a very significant strategic decision.
