This article discusses the significance of periodical circulation and puts forward several methods of the circulation in the library, such as the "half circulation of periodicals" and "full circulation of periodicals".

To deny periodical circulation and to stand for periodical circulation wholly looks like absolutely contradict opinions,but they have a common ground that the both two can t transfer periodical information to general readers to the greatest extent.

This paper has expounded that periodical circulation is inevitable in university library periodical management,introduced the methods of forestage preparation of periodical circulation and modes of the periodical circulation,and analyzed problems that might happen in periodical circulation.
