It firstly illustrates the examples of CS on campus and classifies them into Chinese-English CS,Mandarin-Dialect CS and Cyber CS,and then puts forward that Code-Switching is a kind of memes and it functions as a cultural meme,a language meme and an informational meme in the process of communication.

In accordance with some ideas above,in 2003 a Chinese scholar proposed the concept of "language memetics",firstly combined memetics with linguistics into an integrated language research object.

It concludes that the traditional learning method,reciting,should be given a second look from the perspective of the language meme.
