| 新诗 中国五四文学革命中产生的以白话作为基本语言手段 ，有别于古典诗歌和现代人用传统诗歌形式创作的旧体诗的诗歌体裁的统称。在中国文学发展过程中，古典诗歌（包括诗、赋、词、曲等）曾取得很高成就，但到了近代逐渐走向僵化，所使用的词汇与现代口语严重脱节；在形式上（包括章法句式、对仗用典以及平仄韵律上）的种种限制，对表现日益复杂的社会生活及人们的思想感情造成极大束缚。因此，新诗革命成了五四新文化运动最先开始、也是最重要的组成部分。新诗草创阶段，以废除旧体诗形式上的束缚，主张白话俗语入诗 ， 表现诗人的真情实感为主要内容 。 当时也称新诗为“白话诗”、“白话韵文”、“国语的韵文” 。 1917年2月《新青年》刊出胡适的白话诗词8首 ， 是首次发表的白话新诗。出版的第一本新诗集为新诗社编辑发行的《新诗集 》，第一本新诗个人别集是胡适的《尝试集》。而开创一代新的诗风的，则是郭沫若的诗集《女神》。新诗在建立和发展过程中，受到外国诗歌较大影响。70余年来，许多诗人在吸取中国古典诗歌、民歌和外国诗歌有益营养的基础上，对新诗的表现方法和艺术形式进行了多方面的探索，产生了现实主义、浪漫主义、象征主义等多种艺术潮流，出现了自由体 、新格律体、十四行诗、阶梯式诗、散文诗等多种体式。众多诗人的探索和一些杰出诗人的创造，使新诗逐渐走向成熟和多样化。五四文学革命以后，新诗一直为中国现代诗歌的主体。 |
