To reduce the complexity of some algorithms of tracking multiple maneuvering targets in clutter, a new method is proposed based on improved FDA and adaptive α-β filter which includes maneuver detection and judgment of maneuver-to-steady state conversion, using the maneuver index to adjust the size of the wave gate adaptively.
