肉用型鸡品种。为洛克鸡的一个品变种。原产美国，1888年在《美国家禽标准》中被列作品种。洛克鸡按羽毛颜色有芦花、白色、黄色、鹧鸪色等7个品变种,其中以芦花与白色最为普遍。单冠。耳垂红色、喙、脚、皮肤黄色。体大丰满，公鸡体重4～4.5千克，母鸡3～3.5千克。蛋壳褐色，年产蛋量150～160个，蛋重60克左右。白洛克鸡原属兼用型。美国于1937年着手向肉用型改良，1940年完成。50年代后期与科尼什鸡杂交，表现出极好的肉用性能,风靡美国各地。而后又经不断改良,鸡的体型、外貌与生产性能均有很大改变。其主要特点是，早期生长快，胸、腿肌肉发达，羽色洁白，屠体美观，并保持一定的产蛋水平。现多用白洛克鸡作母系同白科尼什鸡杂交生产肉用仔鸡。
