圆柱投影 cylindrical projection
是地图投影的一类。假想一个圆柱与地球相切或相割，以圆柱面作为投影面，将球面上的经纬线投影到圆柱面上，在正常位置的圆锥投影中，圆锥面展平后纬线为平行直线，经线也是平行直线，而且与纬线直交。圆柱投影按变形性质可分为等角投影，等积投影和任意投影。按圆柱面与地球的相对位置可分为正轴投影、斜轴投影和横轴投影，其中，以等角圆柱投影应用最广，其次为任意圆柱投影。
以圆柱面为承影面的一类投影。假想用圆柱包裹着地球且与地球面相切(割)，将经纬网投影到圆柱面上，再将圆柱面展开为平面而成。
