性质：在化学反应过程中反应物本身因同位素取代而改变能态，引起化学反应速度的差异。氢同位素动力学同位素效应很大，α=kH/kD可达2～10左右。0℃时Al4C3与水反应α=3.9，30℃时Fe与H2SO4反应α=6.6。轻水电解时比重水分解速度快，动力学同位素效应随电极材料、电解条件而变，氢-氘的α在3～12之间。当前采用减容电解来制取终浓重水。
