| 斯托帕德（1937～ ） Stoppard，Tom 英国剧作家。1937年1月3日生于捷克。开始在布里斯托尔当记者，继之当作家。1960年开始写出一些广播剧和电视剧。1964年写出诗剧《罗森格兰兹和吉尔登斯吞之死》。该剧以莎士比亚《哈姆雷特》中两个次要人物为主人公，通过他俩为国王效力而白送了性命的事件，探讨了命运的荒诞性。该剧先后在英国和欧美演出，从而使斯托帕德驰名世界。其他剧作有《真正有检查官瘾的人》、独幕剧《追踪玛格莱特》、《跳跃者们》、《滑稽模仿》、《家丑》等。 |
