中国院校级石油博物馆。位于湖北省沙市市南湖路该学院内。1983年12月筹建,1986年7月建成开放。陈列面积为 500平方米。第一室为石油及其用途陈列室。主要陈列有国外两个油田和国内大庆、大港、胜利等16个油田的原油样品、石油炼制品、化工产品以及石油的物理、化学性质和我国各油田、石油化工厂的概貌。第二室为石油地质原理陈列室。主要陈列有地球发展史、各种地质现象、三大岩类、矿产资源及石油天然气的生成、运移、储集规律、油气田的形成等。其中的大型晶簇状扁平方解石(50×40×20厘米),晶形完整,无色透明，为国内罕见。第三室为油气田勘探和开发陈列室。主要陈列有石油地质勘探，地球物理勘探、钻探、油气田开发过程等。第四室为恐龙骨架化石陈列室。主要陈列有生活在距今约7000万年前的黑龙江东北巨大的恐龙骨架化石和各地质时代的古动物、古植物化石。
