性质:表示流体运动时的一种性质。当流体在密闭导管中作稳定流动,且无流体的增减或漏失时,则单位时间通过导管每一截面的流体质量均相等,此种现象称为流体流动的连续性。连续性的数学表达式为ρ1u1A12u2A2=常数,式中ρ,u,A分别为流体密度、速度和管内截面积,下标1,2表示不同截面。连续性的实质是流体流动时质量守恒。
