补充资料：太湖流域管理局
中国太湖流域水资源综合规划、 协调开发、 统一调度和工程管理的专职机构，属水利部派出机构，驻地上海市。1927年中华民国政府成立太湖流域水利工程处，1929年撤销。同年成立太湖流域水利委员会，1935年并入扬子江水利委员会。中华人民共和国成立后，于1950年成立太湖工程处，1955年并入长江流域规划办公室，1963年成立太湖水利局，1966年后撤销。1984年成立太湖流域管理局，曹士杰任局长。管理局主要任务是：①编制流域水资源综合开发利用规划；②调解处理流域内省与省（直辖市）和各部门之间的水利矛盾；③负责流域内主要河流的防汛调度和水源分配调度工作，统一管理跨省（直辖市）主要河流和水利工程；④负责水质监测工作，对水污染防治进行监督管理；⑤代水利部管理流域内中央直属水利建设项目，代部审批或审查地方水利规划和工程设计。太湖流域管理局成立后，主要进行太湖流域治理规划，太浦河、望虞河工程规划设计等前期工作，同时进行流域内水源保护和水质监测工作。
