During the anti-Japanese war,journalism education in Chongqing was deemed the most advanced in China,which,based on the western journalism education model, gradually evolved into a traditional model of journalism education,embodying a localization-centered feature.
抗战时期,重庆新闻学教育处在当时国内的中心地位,并且,在完全西方新闻教育模式的基础上逐渐形成了我国新闻教育的传统模式,呈现出本土化的特点,研究当时的新闻教育思想、师资配置、课程设置,学生的学术研究、校内实践、新闻实习等方面的内容,对我们当代新闻学教育仍旧有十分重要的意义。

本论文在实地考察基础上探讨以下问题:新疆的新闻学教育现状如何?课程体系设置、师资队伍建设等方面是否存在一些问题?培养的学生是否适应市场需求,是否适应高科技条件下的新闻工作?应该怎样更新观念,培养出适合现代化需要的合格人才? 本文以实地研究方法为主,理论研究、比较研究、个案分析、资料分析和数据分析等多种研究方法并用。
