On the base of firsthand materials concerned,especially of his own letters,and by looking into his inner world,this paper attempts to shed some light on Fu Lei s viewpoint of translation from the following three aspects: his perspective on Hypotaxis and Parataxis,the translation language and the qualifications of the translator.
