【性状】
本品为糖衣片，除去糖衣后显红棕色。
【鉴别】
取本品，除去糖衣后，研细，加稀盐酸使富马酸亚铁溶解，滤过，滤液 显亚铁盐的鉴别反应（附录Ⅲ）。
【检查】
高铁盐 取本品10片，除去糖衣后，研细，置碘瓶中，加水25ml与盐酸 4ml ，加热使富马酸亚铁溶解，迅速冷却至室温，加碘化钾3g，密塞，摇匀，在暗处放 置5 分钟，加水75ml，立即用硫代硫酸钠滴定液(0.1mol/L)滴定，至近终点时，加淀粉 指示液2ml ，继续滴定至蓝色消失，并将滴定的结果用空白试验校正。消耗硫代硫酸钠 滴定液(0.1mol/L)不得过14.3ml。 其他 应符合片剂项下有关的各项规定（附录Ⅰ A）。
【含量测定】
取本品10片，除去糖衣后，精密称定，研细，精密称取适量（约相 当于富马酸亚铁0.3g），加稀硫酸15ml，加热使富马酸亚铁溶解后，放冷，加新沸过的 冷水50ml与邻二氮菲指示液2 滴，立即用硫酸铈滴定液(0.1mol/L)滴定，并将滴定的结 果用空白试验校正。每1ml硫酸铈滴定液(0.1mol/L)相当于16.99mg的C4H2FeO4。
