文学史料、工具书。孙楷第著。孙楷第生于1899年，现为中国社会科学院文学研究所研究员。此书著录自宋至清末已佚和今存的小说书目800余种,以白话小说为主。凡今存作品，作者均注明版本、藏所，书名后大抵附以有关笔记史料的摘录，著者不求详繁而求切要。间有题记按语，考校内容掌故，也力求精当。此书初版于1932年，1957年作家出版社印行重订本，前附著者《重订通俗小说书目序》。对书目有所增补，惟分类名称（如明清小说分烟粉、灵怪等）一仍其旧。著者态度谨严，著录书目必经目验，对版本也非遇本即录。为有价值的参考书。
